The profession of teaching is well-respected and is known as future creator of any nation. It offers the opportunity to create an effective educational system that, in the long term, promotes progress and fulfillment. The curriculum of the Teacher Education courses rigorously provides opportunities to shape and transform a student into a responsible teacher. Every stage in the education field requires a teacher to have unique set of skills and knowledge to be able to prospect and come up with a positive solution.
The diverse project work included in the B.ED curriculum is well-known for helping students become some of the best instructors. Students are subjected to mock exams at various stages. Therefore, a number of strategies are utilized to come up with activities which would be interesting, engaging and enriching at the same time.
Gitarattan Institute of Advanced Studies and Training had been organizing a number of activities every week to keep the flame of learning burning. This week on 15th July, 2022 an inter-house Bulletin board decoration competition was organized for students. The institution is not only working towards creating a sustainable education culture but is also is contributing in creation of sustainable environment. The work that is been displayed on the boards have been taken up from previous activities of poster making, slogan writing, leaflet making with a thought of displaying students work and utilizing the minimum fresh resources.
The competition started at 02:20 pm, andEquality house students under the abled guidance of our House head Ms. Shruti Singh and Ms. Savita Sharma made best efforts for the same. Every single participant worked hard to create a best creative display piece within the time limits. All the students showed great zeal and workmanship during the whole activity, depicting the ideology of 'All for one and one for all.'
Overall, it was a wonderful activity where pupil-teachers, who will be caring for future generations, learned interesting and new skills like the necessity of student coordination and the value of conduction of such creative activities on relevant issues of concern.
