With the efforts of the United Nationals a “blueprint to achieve a better and more sustainable future for all” 17 global goals were set up as Sustainable Developmental Goals (SDGs), which are intended to be achieved by 2030. Since then, in every organization across the globe conscious efforts have been made to attain sustainability in almost every sphere. The aim here stands to create a work culture that works in the direction of preservation and conservation of environment. The Environmental and Wildlife concerns have been shifted from working at a group level to working on it as a mainstream movement.
On 22 July 2022, Gitarattan Institute of Advanced Studies and Training has organised a Wildlife Questionnaire Competition as a part of awareness drive for celebration of wildlife conservation day.
The pupil teachers were asked to make a questionnaire of about 20 questions on the topic ‘Wildlife’. The activity was conducted group wise. This activity made them aware about the importance of wildlife. They got to know more about the wildlife and how it contributes in maintaining ecological balance. They also suggested some ways how they can help in saving wildlife. This increase the awareness about wildlife among the pupil teachers. This activity also help the pupil teachers in developing question making skill which will help them in their future very well to design question papers for students and at the same time this activity makes them aware about the forests and wildlife which often taken as underrated topic .
The activity was conducted successfully and it enhanced their skill of making questionnaires in limited time. The pupil teachers enjoyed a lot during the activity.
