Every student eagerly awaits right from their time of admission for their most remarkable event of the college “FRESHER’S PARTY”. The 28th of October,2023 was as a memorable day in the life of every fresher of academic year 2023-2025 batch at Gitarattan Institute of Advance Studies and Training, Rohini. The fresher’s day was filled with excitement, joy, music, enthusiasm, laughter, and happiness. The theme for the freshers was “ENCHANTED FOREST’’.We chose to have an enchanted forest theme to make the event extra magical. Our hope is to make it feel like we’re enveloped in nature with endless possibilities.
“Welcome, dear juniors, to a world of endless possibilities, where your dreams have the room to flourish and grow.”
When juniors walk through the enchanted forest, with golden leaves falling to the ground. The feeling that the forest fills them with pure ecstasy and a sensation of desire. The juniors were dressed in shades of blue and green signifying trees and river flowing through the forest.
“Amongst us today, dear juniors, lie future leaders, change-makers, and stars ready to shine bright.”
It is the day where seniors and juniors finally bond and unite to celebrate being part of the college. Students were welcomed with the so much of enthusiasm which was organized by their dearest juniors in the Multipurpose Hall.
“As this lamp burns brightly, may it remind us of the eternal flame within us, our inner strength.”
Light is considered as very sacred and a symbol of prosperity, in the same way as sunlight not only dispels the darkness of night, but it also brings blessings and happiness into our lives. The inauguration of event started by kindling the lamp along with the blessings of goddess Saraswathi by our dignitaries and staff members.
The event was structured as lightening of lamp followed by, as it is said that Lord Ganesh clears the obstacles and paves the way for us to move forward in life and when it comes to students of GIAST they never miss a single chance to take such blessings and opening act of Ganesh Vandana dance was performed by student for the same. Further recitation of poem to welcome our dearestFreshers, solodances , group dances and various rounds for the title of ‘’Ms. GIAST.’’
As the day fades away and night seeps in, the forest is equally stunning. The moon, coming out from behind the clouds, shows its full self. In between the trees, we see the moons beams entering the forest. The light that is emitted from the moon, shines onto the tree trunks, making them illume in the night, therefore making the forest glow and become radiant. Same way our hall was illuminated by our dearest freshers, gracing the occasion by their tremendous styles, and showcasing their talents.

Fresher’s party was all about creating everlasting relationships with each other. The event was an indication of union among the students.Pulsating ambience, flashing lights and foot-tapping music, set the mood of the party right. The excitement augmented to a joyful high as performances graced the stage. The dance floor was left open for some unbridled energy. Joy and happiness could be seen among students.
Such an amazing event could not be even successful without the help of each member of student committee and participants.
