Hichki a Bollywood film directed by Siddarth P.Malhotra,released in 2018 was screened in GIAST on 27th march, 2024 as a part of B.Ed. curriculum in practicum RRT [152]. It stars Rani Mukherjee in the lead role as a teacher with Tourette syndrome who strives to make a positive impact on her students’ lives. Despite facing numerous challenges and rejections due to her condition, Naina aspires to become a teacher.
Eventually, Naina gets hired as a teacher in an elite school where she encounters a class of underprivileged students who are labeled as "unteachable" due to their troubled backgrounds. With her unconventional methods and perseverance, Naina not only wins the trust and respect of her students but also transforms their lives.
