GIAST has organized a CCA competition on 05/04/2024 for the theme “VAISHAKHI VIDEO /DOCUMENTARY”. The students, divided into groups, worked collaboratively to plan, script, and film their video on Vaisakhi. They incorporated traditional elements such as Bhangra dances, folk music, and festive decorations to bring the spirit of the festival to life. The video also included students sharing their thoughts and experiences related to Vaisakhi. The aim was for all the students to come together and realize the importance of the festival of Vaisakhi which is commonly celebrated among the Punjabis. This was an extremely fun event and everyone was very enthusiastic.
FRATERNITY HOUSE
B.Ed. students came together to celebrate the festival of Vaisakhi through a creative co-curricular activity. The students showcased their talents and enthusiasm in creating a video presentation that captured the essence of this vibrant and culturally significant festival.
EQUALITY HOUSE
From equality house 4 groups have participated in which maximum students were four and one student participated individually. They all use their spectacular technical skills and prepare a
video for approximate of 2-3 minutes. This activity is a great activity for today’s generation as in today era being tech-savvy is a need of an hour.
INTERGRITY HOUSE
From Integrity, truly excelled in capturing the essence of the festival in our video documentary. With laughter and enthusiasm, we depicted the significance of Vaisakhi, explaining its cultural and historical importance, particularly its connection to the harvest season and the gratitude towards farmers. Adding a touch of fun, our students included a lively Bhangra dance to showcase our jubilation and appreciation for the bountiful harvest. As the event commenced, each participant from different houses showcased their creativity and passion through their videos, utilizing mobile phones and cameras to capture every moment.
LIBERTY HOUSE
The enthusiasm displayed by the students was palpable, reflecting their deep connection and love for Vaisakhi. It was heartening to witness the students' awareness and reverence for the festival, showcasing a profound understanding of its significance. The competition served as a wonderful platform for students to express their cultural pride and solidarity, fostering a sense of unity and community spirit.
