GIAST has organized an Inter-House competition as a CCA on the theme of “International Dance Day “. As International Dance Day is celebrated every year on April 29 throughout the world to pay tribute to this distinctive form of performing arts. Dance is an art form which helps in expressing the emotion of life and relaxes the mind, body and soul. The aim of the celebration was to inculcate interest and respect among the students for International dance forms.
Students of B.Ed. and D.EL.ED. from all the houses participated in the program with enthusiastically in the event. The competition provided a platform for students to collaborate, and celebrate their achievements together. Students expounded on the various International Dance forms like Persian, Hip- Hop, Belly dance, etc. performing the finer and unique points and of each form. The audience was left spell bound and with a lot of insight on the forms of dances.
