CCA: World Telecommunication Day: Google Forms Quiz on Telecommunication
In GIAST, co-curricular activity was organized on 17 MAY 204 and the theme of the activity
was World Telecommunication Day. It highlighted the importance of communication in our lives and its impact on society. In line with this, a Google Forms Quiz was planned for B.Ed. and D.El.Ed students to engage them in learning about various aspects of technology as well as check their awareness about technology. It was a house- wise activity in which all the student’s participation was compulsory.
The main objective of this activity was to enhance the understanding of technology among B.Ed. and D.El.Ed. students, the necessary skills to incorporate technology effectively in their teaching practices, ultimately benefiting their students' learning experiences. The quiz aimed to assess their knowledge on communication and their implications in education.
The process of an activity are as follows:
a) Date: 17th May,2024
b) Duration: The quiz consisted of 20questions and lasted for approximately 15minutes.
c) Platform: Google Forms was utilized as the platform for conducting the quiz.
d) Quiz Structure: The quiz comprised of multiple-choice questions, covering a wide range of technology-related topics.
This activity helps students to enhancing technological awareness and expand their knowledge and understanding of technology in education also encouraging critical thinking by answering multiple-choice questions, students were also prompted to think critically about the different aspects of telecommunication in education. At last the participants were evaluated by their own understanding of technology and identify areas for further improvement.
