Everyone's favourite festival is around the corner; the festival of gifts, carols, lights and decorations. Celebrated on December 25 every year, Christmas marks and commemorates the birth of Jesus Christ. From children to adults, everyone enjoys this day by decorating Christmas trees, baking cookies, exchanging gifts and letting kids believe in the magic of Santa Claus. Given India's diversity of religions and culture, Christmas is not just restricted to Christians alone and is celebrated across the country taking on its own cultural flavour from state to state.

It is believed that Joseph and Mary gave birth to the second holy trinity of Christianity, Jesus Christ, on December 25 in Bethlehem. Jesus of Nazareth was a spiritual leader, whose teachings formed the foundation of Christianity. Although the Bible does not mention a specific date for his birth, Emperor Constantine, the first Christian Roman emperor, designated December 25 as 'Christmas' a day to commemorate Christ's birth. The United States declared December 25 as a federal holiday in 1870 and it has been a widely-recognised holiday ever since.

Students tried to make it great even in online mode. The celebration began with wishes and some lines about Christmas by Kashish Garg. First thing in any celebration is to remember God. So Ishika Goel started the day with the lord's prayer. Divisha was dressed as a Santa Claus who blessed all the performers with their amazing and cheerful words. Then Kavya made us aware about the Christmas tree that we decorate at our homes on Christmas. To make the celebration interesting Kiran Saluja presented a beautiful dance. Mother is the greatest inspiration of our life, so to support her daughter, Kashish Gupta's mother and Kashish sang a soothing song. Then it was time for a Christmas story. Deepmala enlightened us on the birth of Jesus Christ. To check the knowledge of our pupil teachers about the general things around them, Kanika Rawat organized a quiz round. Khushi Sehrawat lifted everyone's mood by dancing and requested everyone to dance with her. Then it was time for our Santa to sing some carols because Christmas is nothing without Christmas carols. Then a game of Dumb Charades was organized by Ishika Goel. We wrapped up the celebration by presenting a video of pupil teachers wishing Merry Christmas to everyone.
In the end our teachers appreciated our efforts and gave their views on our performances, and like as always they boosted up our confidence and wished us a Merry Christmas and gave their blessings to all of us. The celebration was amazing and all the teachers and pupil teachers enjoyed the celebration.
