Gender equality is a fundamental principle that advocates for equal rights, opportunities, and treatment for all individuals, regardless of their gender. In recent years, there has been a growing awareness of the importance of fostering an environment that promotes gender equality rather than perpetuating harmful gender stereotypes. This report aims to explore the significance of creating awareness on gender equality and the detrimental effects of gender stereotyping. D.EL.ED second year students of Gitarattan Institute of Advance Studies and Training, created awareness on the same topic ‘’gender equality’’ as an essential step towards building a more just and equitable society. By challenging and dismantling gender stereotypes, we pave the way for a future where everyone can thrive, irrespective of their gender. It is crucial to continue advocating for and implementing policies that promote equal opportunities, challenge stereotypes, and celebrate the diversity of human experiences.
